Sleepy truck driver causes accident with 7 other cars, troopers say

VANCE COUNTY (WTVD) -- A truck driver caused an accident on I-85 involving 7 other vehicles after he nodded off while driving, according to the State Highway Patrol.
It happened Sunday around mile marker 219. The wreck was in a construction zone where the road narrows to one lane.
An ABC11 Eyewitness sent in a picture of an overturned vehicle. Troopers say there were only minor injuries.
Charges are pending.
