LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say a female driver was killed after a single-vehicle accident that happened early Saturday morning.
At around 12:30 a.m., police went to Millers Lane near Plantation Drive, according to LMPD spokesperson Alicia Smiley.
Officials say when officers arrived, they found a Chevy Impala that had run into a tree. The female driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Smiley.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident, according to police.
Millers Lane was temporarily shut down in both directions as the LMPD Traffic Unit investigated the accident.
