TRAVIS, Staten Island (WABC) -- A ten-car accident on Staten Island has left one person dead and ten others injured.
The accident happened about 2 p.m. Sunday at Travis Avenue and Victory Boulevard in the Travis section.
The FDNY had to extricate some of the injured by cutting them out of the vehicles.
A 74-year-old man was pronounced dead on the scene. At least 2 of the other victims were taken to the hospital in critical condition.
A preliminary investigation suggests an elderly driver may have caused the crash. Police are still investigating
