Bulk carrier EL CONDOR PAS in the morning Sep 9 ran aground in Umuryer area, Bosphorus, Istanbul, proceeding in northern direction with some 29000 tons of steel on board, destined for Samsun Black sea. Reportedly vessel ignored Traffic Control Centre warnings and ran aground making early turn. At 1500 UTC vessel was still aground.
