Authorities are investigating the death of a railroad worker who was killed late Wednesday night when he was trapped between two train cars in Petal.
Details are incomplete, but the incident happened around 11:15 p.m. along Highway 11, just north of the Petal city limits.
Police and volunteer fire officials on the scene said other workers were nearby, but no one else was injured.
Authorities have not released the victim's name.
