Man who fell three stories from construction site airlifted to hospital
A man who fell about three stories at a construction site on International Drive Thursday afternoon was conscious when firefighters reached him, an Orange County Fire Rescue spokeswoman said.
The man, in his 40s, was taken by helicopter to Orlando Regional Medical Center, spokeswoman Kat Kennedy said.
The construction site is near International Drive and World Center Drive.
He was under a trauma alert, which means he was in serious or critical condition.
It was not immediately clear how the man fell from scaffolding.
