FLATWOODS, KY (WSAZ) --
A man was killed Thursday afternoon in a tree trimming accident in Greenup County.
According to Flatwoods Police, the man was trimming tree branches along Donna Court Thursday when he came in contact with a main electric line.
Police say the man was taken to Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The man was an employee of Asplundh Tree Expert Company, according to Flatwoods Police. For now his name is not being released.
