ORANGE, Texas (AP) -

Investigators say a worker has been found dead inside a tanker at a business that does maintenance on railroad cars.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday identified the worker as 42-year-old Martin Parks Jr. of Beaumont.

The sheriff's department received an emergency call Monday night from Rescar Industries in Orange. A co-worker discovered the victim inside the tanker during a search when Parks couldn't immediately be found a few hours after a break.

Officials say Parks was dead at the scene. Justice of the Peace Derry Dunn says the body had no visible injuries. An autopsy has been ordered.

Authorities are trying to determine what caused the death. Further details about the tank were not immediately released.  The most probable cause is that the worker died from inhalation of toxic fumes inside the tank.
