WRIGHT TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) -
Officials say a 66-year-old man has died after a boating accident at a private lake in western Michigan.
The Ottawa County sheriff's department says the Grand Rapids man was found unresponsive Thursday in Wright Township and rescuers couldn't revive him.
His name wasn't immediately released.
The department says the man had been fishing with a friend in a row boat that overturned and he unsuccessfully tried to swim to land. The friend pulled him to shore and attempted CPR.
