Man critically injured following ATV collision with SUV in the streets of Terre Haute, Indiana after he run a red light. It is also illegal to drive an ATV on city streets.

A Terre Haute man was airlifted for medical treatment following an early morning ATV accident at 25th Street and Fort Harrison Road.
Michael McBroom, 30, was unconscious at the scene of the 12:25 a.m. accident. He was transported to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis for treatment.
Terre Haute Police Chief John Plasse said that witnesses report McBroom was southbound on 25th Street on an ATV when he ran a red light at the intersection and collided with the driver's side of a 2000 Ford Explorer driven by David Peterson, 37, of Terre Haute.
McBroom was wearing a helmet, the police report indicates. Peterson was not injured.
It is illegal to drive an ATV on city streets or roads in Vigo County.
