The wife of a Fort Carson soldier accused of setting their Colorado Springs house on fire for insurance money was sentenced Tuesday to two years of probation, court records show.
Kendra Warrum, 28, pleaded guilty in May to conspiracy to commit insurance fraud. She was initially accused of also being an accessory to a crime.

Staff Sgt. Jacob Warrum, 27, had increased his home insurance coverage a few days before the fire department responded to a blaze at their home on Chasewood Loop in September, according to his arrest affidavit. Crews found gasoline and piles of burned debris in the kitchen, clear evidence of arson, the fire department said.

Court records show the couple filed for divorce in October.
