All lanes of Interstate 65 have reopened near Vietnam Veterans Boulevard following a fuel spill Thursday morning.
According to police, the semi driver was heading south when they ran off the road near the entrance ramp and crashed into the concrete barrier, which punctured the gas tank.
Medics took the driver to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
At one point, only one lane was open in both directions. The lanes reopened before 5:30 a.m.
