WEST CHICAGO, Ill. (WLS) --
A car caught fire inside a garage attached to a home in West Chicago.Firefighters responded to a house near Smith Road and Locust Lane, which is just west of Route 59 in the west suburb Friday morning.
The flames have been extinguished. There is damage to the garage and the home.
There is no word on whether anyone was injured.
Investigators are looking into how the fire started. They are looking for a fuel source (like gasoline), oxygen (like oxygen in the air) and a spark.
