According to Burlington Northern Santa Fe, the victim passed away from their injuries. The victim is described as a white male in his 50’s.
OKLAHOMA CITY –
Police were forced to shut down multiple roads Saturday evening after a person was hit by a train around 7 p.m.
According to police, a person was lying on the railroad tracks near SE 44th St. and S. Lindsay Ave. when they were struck.
The incident caused that area as well as S High Ave. near SE 55th St. to be shut down while crews worked the scene.
Police have not released the condition of the victim or the reason as to why the person was lying on the tracks.
