A Piper PA-28-151 Cherokee Warrior II small aircraft, registration HI 651, crashed on Sunday afternoon, in the Dominican Republic, causing the death of the three occupants.

The accident was found by local 01:00 pm (06:00 pm UTC), are still few details known about the accident.

Reports through social networks and following a 2 Channel News of Tele Antillas, the single engine plane fell in Estancia de Nueva Santiago, in Santiago de los Caballeros, a field of banana trees, in the center of the island.  Residents who arrived immediately at the scene encountered the aircraft quite a wreck and the three crew members trapped between the twisted irons.

Doctors of the emergency services of the civil intervention brigades confirmed shortly after the death of the three men who were pulled from the wreckage.
