WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NEW JERSEY
A teenage girl was killed when the ATV she was driving
collided with a second ATV, the State Police confirmed.
The accident occurred around 3:45 p.m. on Allen Road,
Trooper Alina Spies said.
The dead girl was involved in an ATV collision on a private
dirt road near Lake Oswego and Allen Road in Washington Township. Her ATV collided with another ATV, driven by
Jose Rentas, 27, of Vineland.
Both the girl and the other driver, were transported to
AtlanticCare Regional Medical Center hospitals, in Galloway and Atlantic City,
respectively.
The girl was later pronounced dead there.
A third person suffered minor injuries, Spies said, while a
fourth person involved in the accident was unhurt.
The dead girl was Aisha Lopez, 14, of Vineland, New
Jersey. She was a student at the Anthony
Rossi Intermediate School, loved animals and was a gymnast.
