A Springfield man is dead after an ATV crash in Ripley County Saturday night.
It happened around 7:15 p.m.
Michael Barton, 29, was driving a four wheeler on private property, about 12 miles north of Doniphan, when he hit a tree.
Barton was pronounced dead at the scene by the Ripley County Deputy Coroner.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, he was not wearing any safety device.
Some people have a death wish; sometimes that wish is granted. RIP.
