Semi-truck carrying beer overturns on 91 Freeway in Riverside, California

RIVERSIDE, Calif. (KABC) -- 

 

A semi-truck carrying beer overturned on the eastbound 91 Freeway Monday, blocking lanes in the Riverside area.

The incident happened where the 91 meets the 60 and the 215 freeways at about 8 a.m. Cases of Bud Light were seen spilled on the roadway.

Eastbound lanes of the 91 Freeway were shut down, and the eastbound SR-60 to the northbound I-215 connector was also closed.

At 9:41 a.m., two eastbound 91 lanes were opened.

The cause of the accident was unknown.
