Waveland Police believe a woman found dead in a ditch Thursday morning may be the victim of a hit and run accident.
Hancock County Coroner Jim Faulk confirms the body of 23-year-old Shelby Luciano was found at the corner of Spruce Street and Waveland Avenue. That's a residential area of the city.
Police and the State Bureau of Investigations are reconstructing the crime scene and hope to have more details on a suspect or vehicle later today.
