A cyclist was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver in East
Harlem Wednesday night, sources said.
The motorist, driving a Mercedes, was speeding the wrong way down Madison Avenue
before turning onto East 129th Street, where he hit the cyclist at 11:20 p.m.,
police sources said.
After the collision, three men in the vehicle fled on foot.
The victim was declared dead at the scene.
