FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA
Two people were trapped in the wreckage after a crash that
sent a car and truck off Interstate 95 in Fort Lauderdale early Tuesday
morning.
The crash occurred in the northbound lanes of I-95 near
Broward Boulevard.
A Florida Highway Patrol spokesman said the truck and car
collided and then fell off the highway.
Fire-rescue crews freed the victims from the wreckage.
Both victims were taken to a hospital. Their conditions were
not immediately known.
Northbound traffic was backed up for miles after the crash.
