A wreck involving a car carrier caused a major traffic issue
at a high-traffic area on Wednesday morning.
Traffic was down to one lane westbound on University Drive
under Research Park Boulevard after a car carrier overturned, dumping three
Mercedes-Benz SUV’s on the road.
As of 10:30 a.m. the two outer westbound lanes on University
were open. Police still urged drivers to use caution in the area.
The wreck caused significant traffic backups starting at
Research Park Boulevard.
No one was hurt, but significant damage was caused to the
property. His wallet will hurt for sure. Hopefully the trucker has
enough insurance to cover this damage.
