Long Island Rail Road
is advising delays for Monday morning’s commute following a non-passenger train
derailment in Westside Yard.
MTA posted an alert shortly after 10 p.m. saying
customers should anticipate canceled and diverted trains as well as delays
during the morning rush hour on Monday.
They said crews will be working throughout the night and
overnight to re-rail the derailed cars.
