GREENWICH, PENNSYLVANIA (WPVI) --
At least one person has been killed in a crash on I-78 in
Berks County.
It happened at 5:00 a.m. Tuesday in the westbound lanes in Greenwich Township.
Images from chopper 6 HD over the scene showed a Fed Ex double tractor trailer lying on its side.
Traffic was backed up for miles approaching the scene, near the New Smithville exit.
All westbound lanes were shut down and expected to remain that way for hours as police investigated and workers began to clear the wreckage.
