A Hampton Roads
Transit Tide train derailed Saturday night.
HRT spokesperson Tom
Holden confirmed that the train slipped off its track along York Street.
Holden said that
this was not a major derailment and that crews are investigating what caused
the train to come off the track.
HRT tweeted about
the incident around 7:20 p.m. saying that there were no injuries and that a
shuttle bus would be running from York Street to EVMC station for
customers.
Shortly before 9:20
p.m. HRT said that the train was back on the tracks.
