One person was killed and two people were injured when
a large Enterprise rental truck collided with another vehicle and a brick wall
in North Hills on Tuesday.
The collision occurred about 10:30 a.m. in the 16600 block
of Lassen Street at Hayvenhurst, according to Shawn Lenske with the Los Angeles
Fire Department.
The two-vehicle collision caused an automotive fire, and one
person was found dead when first responders arrived, Lenske said.
Aerial video showed the truck had crashed into a wall in
front of a home, and its cab was left charred black. It was not immediately
clear what type of vehicle was the second one involved.
One person was treated on the scene and released, and
another adult was transported to a local hospital, Lenske said.
The cause of the collision was under investigation.
