Hazardous Waste Management, Draft Regulations for Consideration http://www.dec.ny.gov/regulations/100424.html Hazardous Waste Rulemaking - Carbon Dioxide Sequestration Rule http://www.dec.ny.gov/regulations/100557.html Hazardous Waste Rulemaking - Electronic Manifest Rule http://www.dec.ny.gov/regulations/100585.html Hazardous Waste Rulemaking - Definition of Solid Waste Rule http://www.dec.ny.gov/regulations/100652.html Hazardous Waste Rulemaking - Used Oil Management Regulations http://www.dec.ny.gov/regulations/100657.html This rule making will incorporate, as appropriate, federal rules and State-initiated changes, including clarification of language and corrections of errors found in the regulations.  Amendments to Parts 370-373, 376 and subparts 374-1 and 374-3 are included in this rule making, which is referred to as FedReg5.  These drafts and an informal public comment period are being provided to help inform stakeholders and to identify any major issues to be addressed before the draft regulations are formally proposed in 2015. DEC is also seeking comments on a rulemaking initiative to consider adopting the United States Environmental Protection Agency regulations adopted in 2013 and 2014. This rule making is referred to as FedReg6.
