ANOTHER WRONG-WAY CRASH IN TEXAS: I-20 WRECK BETWEEN A FED EX TRUCK, A PICKUP TRUCK, AN SUV AND A CAR IN KILGORE, TEXAS

KILGORE, TX (KLTV) -
Kilgore police responded Thursday to a wreck on Interstate 20.
The incident
occurred at mile marker 591, between Highway 42 and Highway 31. Traffic is
backed up in the area; the eastbound outside lane continues to be blocked.
Drivers have been urged to seek alternate routes.
An official on scene
says the accident was caused by an elderly man driving the wrong way. Police
say a FedEx truck pulling two trailers started to skid and brake upon seeing
the vehicle. A pickup truck came from the rear and struck the FedEx truck
causing it to skid off the road onto the eastbound shoulder and into a ravine. An SUV then struck the pickup truck.
The wrong-way driver
was transported to a Longview hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
