WV DHHR building closes after water pipe breaks

 

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The state Department of Health and Human Resources headquarters in the former Diamond department store was closed Friday after a pipe ruptured in the facility.

The agency’s offices were likely to be closed through the weekend, and DHHR planned to have its employees in the building work remotely.

The building should reopen on Monday, according to a DHHR press release.
