VAN ZANDT COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - Interstate 20 in Van Zandt County has reopened after a wreck temporarily blocked eastbound traffic Monday morning.

Highway patrol officials said two 18-wheelers collided after one rear-ended the other and one of the vehicles overturned, catching on fire. No one was injured in the crash, according to the department. The wreck was blocking traffic in the eastbound lanes at mile marker 534, near the city of Canton.

Texas Department of Public Safety Spokeswoman Kathi White said traffic was temporarily diverted to the 533 mile marker exit.

White said one of the trucks overturned and was straddling both lanes of the interstate. TxDOT crews assessed potential damage after the wreck was cleared before reopening the interstate.

A second wreck occurred in the same location in the westbound lanes Monday morning involving a car and an 18-wheeler. That wreck has been cleared. There were no reports of injuries in that crash.
