WRECK SHUTS DOWN PARTS OF I-20 IN GREGG COUNTY, TEXAS

GREGG COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - Emergency crews are on
the scene of a wreck involving two 18-wheelers that shut down parts of the
interstate in Gregg County early Friday morning.
According to authorities, the accident happened just
after 1 a.m., on I-20 westbound at mile marker 583 near Highway 135. Traffic is
being rerouted off onto Highway 42.
Authorities have not released the cause of the crash or
if there were any injuries at this time, but crews are working to clean up the
debris. No word on when the lanes will be cleared and re-opened. Use Highway 80
or Highway 31 as alternate routes to avoid delays.
