HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — One person suffered minor injuries after a tractor-trailer truck loaded with mail collided with a traffic control vehicle and crashed on Interstate 95 south, near the exit to Interstate 295 south, in Henrico. 

The crash was reported at about 5:30 a.m. No mail spilled out of the truck as a result of the crash, according to Virginia State Police spokesman Sgt. Steve Vick.

“The right lane is closed due to diesel fuel spill,” Vick said. “The US Postal Service has been contacted.”

The driver of the big rig has been charged with making an unsafe lane change, according to state police.

One minor injury was reported.
