One man is lucky to be alive after a wall collapse in Gowanus.

It happened Tuesday morning at a construction site on 12th Street, between 2nd and 3rd avenues.

According to workers, the driver of a pump truck was pulling out of the lot when the vehicle got caught on the masonry wall at the front, causing a metal roll down gate to collapse.
