Beebeetown, Iowa.

A 48-year-old New Jersey man died Thursday morning when his semitrailer rolled on Interstate 680 north of Council Bluffs.

The Iowa State Patrol said Jeffrey Hall of North Brunswick died after he was ejected from the 2005 International semi in the 6:55 a.m. accident on westbound I-680 near Beebeetown.  He was not wearing a seat belt.

Hall veered left off I-680 into the median, the patrol said, and as he swerved back onto westbound I-680 the semi’s trailer struck a guardrail and the semi rolled onto its left side and into a ditch.
