OVERTURNS ON SB I-75 NEAR MONROE, MICHIGAN

LASALLE TOWNSHIP, Mich. -
Emergency crews shut down southbound I-75 Friday
afternoon near mile marker nine in LaSalle Township, just south of Monroe,
after a tanker truck overturned.
A witness at the scene of the accident reports three
other vehicles might have been involved in the accident.
It is unknown at this time what the truck was carrying,
but the roadway will be closed as crews work to remove the truck.
Injury information is unavailable at this time.
Snowfall caused slick and icy road conditions this
morning in southeast Michigan, leading to several spin-off crashes and property
damage accidents during the morning drive.
