SNOWMOBILE DRIVER FOUND DAY AFTER ACCIDENT IN MICHIGAN.

RONALD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) – Authorities in Ionia County found a driver of a snowmobile Saturday who crashed and had been lying outside in the snow overnight.
Around 12 p.m. Ionia County deputies were called to the 200 block of E. Bricker Road for a snowmobile accident that happened in a nearby field.

Deputies later found out that the man, 48-year-old Michael Rich, had been lying outside since Friday afternoon before he was found by a family friend.

Rich had been driving his snowmobile when it collided head-on with a tree in the field. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

He was taken to the hospital where he remains in serious condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
