Driver Extricated from Wreck in Margate, Florida
The driver of a pickup truck was listed in serious condition following a rollover crash in Margate, fire officials said.
Margate and Coral Springs Fire Rescue worked together to extricate the driver from the twisted wreckage of a red Ford Ranger at about 8 a.m. Wednesday.
The truck was wrapped around a utility pole on Rock Island Road north of Royal Palm Boulevard, investigators said.
Coral Springs Fire Rescue took the patient to Broward Health North medical center.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
