ONE HOSPITALIZED
IN ROUTE 23 COLLISION BETWEEN A DUMPSTER TRUCK AND A PASSENGER CAR IN
CLAVERACK, NEW YORK
The second vehicle in the two car collision that stopped
traffic on State Route 23 Tuesday afternoon was a dumpster truck.
CLAVERACK, NEW YORK — Route 23
in Claverack was closed Tuesday afternoon due to a two-car collision. The
Craryville Fire Department and Copake Rescue Squad responded at 3:45 p.m. on
Route 23 east of the Taconic State Parkway.
One person was transported to
Columbia Memorial Hospital and another refused medical attention. State police
investigated the accident, and the road was reopened at approximately 4:12 p.m.
