A Lebanon woman died
Thursday afternoon in a fire authorities believe was caused by an auxiliary
heating source, said Lebanon Fire Department Public Information Officer Gabe
Westerfeld.Leslie Ann Hawkins, 29, died of unknown causes.
Hawkins had three children who were not home when the fire broke out.
No one else was hurt in the 12:30 p.m. fire at 223-225 S. East St., at the intersection of Pearl and East streets.
Units from Lebanon, Center Township, Whitestown and Zionsville responded to the scene.
