HAZMAT SPILL
(PESTICIDE RELEASE) SLOWS WESTPARK TRAFFIC IN FORT BEND COUNTY, TEXAS
FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas -- A hazmat spill involving a
pesticide truck slowed traffic on Westpark Tollway's frontage road Friday
morning.
The incident was reported near Grand Parkway shortly
before 9:30 a.m.
Aerial views from Air 11 showed crews working to clean
up an acid spill under the tollway. Both westbound and eastbound traffic was
affected.
There were no reports of injuries or harm to nearby
residents.
