TRUCK THROUGH YARDS, DAMAGES PROPERTIES AND HITS HOUSE IN EXETER, LUZERNE

EXETER — A bizarre crash ended up with a truck
hitting a home in Luzerne County.
Officers say the driver tore through about five yards
before crashing into the back of a house on Grant Street in Exeter around 7
p.m. Sunday.
The people who live in the house weren’t home at the
time.
Neighbors were surprised at the amount of damage.
“I have no idea how he came from another block, through
the yards, took out fences, apparently hit another truck, came through the
yard, and slammed into the porch,” said Doris Comant of Exeter.
According to neighbors, there was a passenger in the
truck when it crashed.
Police said no one was hurt in the wreck, but the driver
was taken in on suspicion of DUI.
