VIDEO AND PHOTOS: Fire In Yeshiva D’Rockland Near Route 59 And Route 45 In
Spring Valley

A fire broke out in
Yeshiva D’Rockland just before noon on Thursday. The Yeshiva is located at 2
East Funston Drive, which is just off Route 59 and Route 45 in Spring valley.
The building on fire is reportedly the dormitory of the Yeshiva.
Numerous fire
departments – including Nanuet, Spring Valley, and Hillcrest – are on the scene
along with Hatzolah of Rockland County.
All occupants were
safely evacuated from the building, and the Sifrei Torah have been removed as
well.
It does not appear
there are any serious injuries, although Hatzolah is transporting one person to
a local hospital.
