Two injured in two truck accident on I-80 in
Troy Township, IL

TROY TOWNSHIP – One lane on Interstate 80 westbound
was closed Wednesday morning due to a crash between two trucks.
The lane is expected to open shortly, according to an
Illinois State Police official.
A box truck and semi truck crashed on I-80 westbound
just west of Interstate 55 at about 8 a.m., according to police.
Two people suffered minor injuries. One was airlifted by
helicopter to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, while the
other was transported by ambulance to Morris Hospital.
The cause of the crash is being investigated as of 9
a.m.
