I-59 Northbound in Alabama reopens after 18-wheeler overturn accident

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -
Authorities reopened Interstate 59 Northbound at the Roebuck Parkway exit just before 8 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
Crews were able to upright and remove an 18-wheeler that overturned earlier in the morning.
The accident closed all lanes of Interstate 59 northbound just past the Roebuck Parkway exit on Tuesday morning for several hours.
Traffic was rerouted off of the Interstate during the shutdown.
