The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection announces the availability of an update to the guidance “Capping of Volatile Contaminants for the Impact to Ground Water Pathway.”





The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection announces the availability of an update to the guidance “Capping of Volatile Contaminants for the Impact to Ground Water Pathway.” This updated document includes additional language stating that all exposure pathways, including the vapor intrusion pathway, must be addressed in all cases. An additional FAQ has been added and Section 5.0 (Capping with Existing Volatile Organic Contamination in the Vadose Zone and Ground Water) has been rewritten and corresponding Figure 1 modified.
