FULLERTON, Calif. (KABC) -- A 15-year-old boy was killed in a two-car crash on the 57 Freeway in Fullerton early Sunday.

Luis Torres, of Santa Ana, died at the scene of the collision, which happened at about 2 a.m. on the 57 North near Yorba Linda Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Two lanes were shut down on the northbound side of the freeway but have since reopened.

There was no word on what may have caused the accident and on the condition of others involved in the crash.  We suspect that the driver was drunk and/or speeding, as the statistics show that most drunk driving accidents occur in the AM hours.
