Worker with G & F Septic was crushed to death when material came tumbling out of a trailer that was holding excavation debris






Man killed in Waterboro workplace accident

WATERBORO, Maine —A man was killed Friday morning in a workplace accident in Waterboro.

The York County Sheriff's Department says David Egan, 49, of Waterboro, was crushed when material came tumbling out of a trailer that was holding excavation debris. The incident happened at G & F Septic on Sokokis Trail.

The debris contained large tree trunks and other large objects, investigators said.

Officials believe Egan died shortly after the accident happened, and was declared dead at the scene.


The Occupational Safety and Health Administration confirms it is also investigating.
