Five homes damaged by fire in Middletown, Delaware

MIDDLETOWN, Del. (WPVI) -- A firefighter was burned battling a blaze in Middletown, Delaware.

The fire was reported around 4 p.m. Sunday at a home in the 200 block of Vincent Circle.

Fire started in a row home and spread to the adjacent homes along the back side of each house.

A total of five homes were damaged. Three were damaged by fire, while the other two were damaged by smoke and water.

The firefighter who was burned is expected to be okay.

Another firefighter was treated for exhaustion.
