Worker is crushed to death by falling construction material at En-Plast on FM 1960 near Carlsway Road in Houston, Texas

A worker was found dead today after an apparent accident at a construction site in north Harris County.

Emergency workers tell abc13 the accident happened at En-Plast on FM 1960 near Carlsway Road.

We're told an employee wasn't seen for about 30 minutes when his co-workers began searching for him. He was found under a pile of materials that fell on him, pinning him in the rubble.

The construction workers began digging him out, and gave him CPR, but when EMS arrived, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Harris County Sheriff's Department is investigating.
