Explosion and fire along an Orchard Branch, Banner, KY home believed to be meth related

FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- An explosion at a home in Floyd County is believed to have been meth-related.

The explosion happened along Orchard Branch in Banner late Thursday night.

Crews on the scene say a window was blown out and blue smoke was coming from the window.

Fred Hunt was reportedly arrested for multiple meth-related charges.

No other details have been released.

FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- An explosion allegedly occurred inside a home along Orchard Branch in Banner late Thursday night.

911 dispatchers say there was a window blown out of the house with blue smoke coming from inside.

When firefighters arrived on scene there was a heavy chemical scent coming from the home.

The Floyd County Sheriff's Office is now investigating the explosion.
